Undoubtedly. Heath ledger's performance as the joker was nothing short of spectacular and any other time i would say that he certainly should recieve the award. Yet since he is no longer living it is hard to justify giving the honor to a ghost. yes he deservees it but i think that it would be more useful to put on the resume of a living actor that they recieved it. That is how the oscars usually run and i am certain that it is how they will run this year. I am almost certain that no one can out shine his performance as the joker in a pure show of talent this year or anytime soon and he should win for that but the politics of hollywood will probably not let that happen. besides who would recieve it for him?
