A difficult choice for me. A

A difficult choice for me. A Song of Fire and Ice is definitely my choice but the Anita Blake series is set up better for being turned into movies.

Very Interesting!

After looking at all the choice's that have been listed barring the usual other sections of any survey I really have to go with the song of ice and fire series by George R.R. Martin because in my mind we would use the visuals, hard R content and visceral feel of 300 and combine that with the grandiose presentation of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and what you have is a bloody spectacle that would be just for adults because fuck dumbing things down so the children can come and see it too. Incidentally one of the choices that you mentioned has already been optioned by New Line Cinema to be turned into a movie and that is of course Max Brooks wonderful novel entitled "World War Z" which should play out quite well on the big screen.

I can't vote for ASOIF...

because HBO picked up the rights to do it as a series. I'd rather see it done that way instead.

Not Too Difficult At All...

Well, since World War Z is already being worked on, I went with the easy choice. Everyone and their mother should be voting for American Gods. This would be great on so many levels. Imagine this as a gritty road picture, with Henry Rollins as Czernobog and Patrick Renna as Internet. God, that'd be so fookin' sweet...

Just so long as they keep Len Wiseman or Brett Ratner far, far away from it.

ASOIF

I'd have to agree that "A Song of Ice and Fire" is going to be much better as a series. There is too much involved for it to work as a movie even if it were done "Lord of the Rings" style. The big screen just wouldn't do it justice.
