In a bizarrely stunning move, reality show producers 44 Blue Productions have inked a development deal with none other than Chris Crocker, the YouTube "thespian" whose "Leave Britney Alone" video has generated over eight million hits in the span of one week.

According to showbiz rag Variety, Crocker is going to be the star of his own show detailing his life living with his grandparents in Tennessee. Now, how does this guy live in Tennessee and not get his ass kicked on a daily basis? Good question. Nevertheless, someone with money decided that this would be worth watching. Rasha Drachkovitch, co-founder of 44 Blue, says "It's going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience'. We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He's going to be a TV star."

Now, I will reach slowly for the icepick I will use to extricate my eyes and eardrums. I want to hear or see nothing come of this...
