Fast & Furious | Trailer Park

I'm a fan of Justin Lin and really hope that he can do something interesting with these characters. The song, for those curious, is "We are Rock Stars" by Does it Offend You, Yeah? They are on tour with Nine Inch Nails, so check 'em out even if you don't like Vin Diesel.

Max Payne | Trailer Park

Yeah, uh... I'm not so sure about this one. It looks like Constantine 2 crossed with Hitman and multiplied by the funky bunch... Toss in the fact that it is from the guy that directed the remake of The Omen, and... Let's just say none of this has me too excited, but I'll let you judge for yourself.

            As you may have noticed, this is my first article is about two months. After my self-imposed exile from the hallowed halls of Dorkgasm, my first step was to renew my professional contacts. First off the bat was a call to James Zahn, the multi-hyphenate auteur behind the Death Walks the Streets multimedia brand. You may remember from an article by our own Hearstian editor Michael Reidlinger in regards to Zahn's presence at this years Chicago Wizard World. Well, it turns out that big events are in store for one of the most eagerly awaited franchises in film. Yes, sir, big things.

            Low expectations can really be wonderful. I can walk into any Ben Stiller film and expect absolutely nothing, but if the movie makes me giggle, it has managed something I didn’t expect from it. Now, if I walk into a Ben Stiller film, say Tropic Thunder and cannot stop laughing from the first second on... Well, that is the makings of a classic my friends.
