Day Two

Arriving super early before the start of the festival, I was waiting around for the Uwe Boll press junket to begin. Wayne was rushing around, setting up volunteers, so I could not get too much of a chance to talk to him. I ran into Bill Zenobia, who told me the press meeting was changed until later in the afternoon. I sighed, and settled in for some more Super Mario World on my DS. After a couple of levels, I turned the game world off and began to settle in for the long haul. Suddenly, I heard a bit of a buzz.

In the Name of the King

Well hot damn! I like the use of talent, and the cinematography looks stunning... Wait, did I just say that about a Uwe Boll film? Huh... Still not used to that!

So... What kinds of DORKGASM products do you want to see?

Just So Everyone Can Laugh...

Yeah, I have the new Britney Spears CD. Eat me. It's actually pretty damn good. Infinitely danceable and other such nonsense.

If anyone cares, I know you all have embarassing CD's. Post them, and we can all laugh at each other.

Ideas galore

Aside from some thoughts I have about rearranging the look and feel of the site, I have some nifty promo ideas. I'm posting here because I know staff reads blogs and if any readers bother to read our blogs their opinion would be good too.

ICFLM: Day 2 & 3

Day 2 for me didn’t start until 2 p.m. on Saturday. It wasn’t because I was sleeping; I had to work the other job that morning. I was smart enough to bring my own food this time; I had sampled the fare yesterday and found it akin to lead sitting in one’s stomach.

Day One

Let’s see, where ever shall I begin? I arrived a bit early on Friday, October 26th. I dropped in to say hello to Wayne Clingman and to introduce myself to William Zenobia. Then, I headed back outside to get some Super Mario World in before Joel got there. Unfortunately, he had my press pass (which was totally sweet looking, by the way), so I couldn’t get into anything. After about forty five minutes of me calling Joel to find out how close he was, he arrived and we went off inside.
